Koa originally qualified in 1990 and completed Post Graduate study from RMIT University in Melbourne in 2000. She has completed several courses with the SCTF of ANZ, (Sutherland Cranial Teaching Foundation of Australia and New Zealand), in cranial osteopathy including those specific to children and babies. After qualifying more than 30 years ago, Koa established a practice in Whangaparaoa and close to 10 years ago opened a second clinic in Warkworth.
Koa has enjoyed rural life for almost 30 years. Based just south of Warkworth, Koa is passionate about our natural world and is happiest in, on, or under the water – or exploring NZ’s beautiful wilderness on foot or mountain bike.
Koa has a guiding philosophy of “movement for life” and her treatments aim to promote unrestricted, pain-free movement and function regardless of the age or life stage of her patient.
Koa is a registered member of the Osteopathic Council NZ (OCNZ) and a member of Osteopaths NZ.
Koa is an ACC treatment provider.
